A touch of peppermint for 28th Sep, 2010

Mint is a bit love-it-or-hate-it for many people, especially when combined with chocolate, so I just had to, you know, put a minty macaron out there. Peppermint and dark chocolate ganache. Let's call him:

  • HERBERT dark: subtle peppermint in a pale green shell. I've avoided the warmth that many people associate with peppermint, instead yielding a mild cross between peppermint tea and a Mint Pattie.

And for those who'd prefer something else, there's some lemony goodness and an old friend.
