What a great set of reviews! I missed my chance to try Ch&W in London as the store was closed by the time I made it to the store. Wondering if anyone can direct me to a place to buy it in Australia- pref Sydney or Canberra or at a pinch Melbourne or online? I don't believe that DJs stocks it anymore.

That reminds me of a pastry chef I worked for who once tried to smoke chocolate the way you would a duck. The resulting ganache was a bit horrible – like licking a burnt stick.

Welcome, Y. Thanks for the comment! The tobacco ganache was quite something. It reminded me why I liked smelling my Dad's tins of tobacco as a kid (yet I never became a smoker – tobacco good, smoking icky).

Came across your site via Tomatom. I've had L'Artisan's salted caramels and loved them, although Paul A Young's were better. Wish I'd had a chance to try those Tobacco chocs!

The problem with the support groups is that they *support your chocolate addiction*! I briefly joined the Melbourne Uni Chocolate club thing and ended up with five boxes (boxes!) of Dark Chocolate Bounty.
