Marzipan it ruins the whole thing, custard - yes, but no marzipan please :)

		<description>It is always wonderful to see familiar recipes in foreign foodblogs! I am an ex-pat swede living in Ireland who has still not managed to convince the ones around me about the wonderfulness of Semlor (apart from the neighbours this year, but I didn;t explain the concept before feeding it to them. that may have helped).

Found a slightly different recipe this year for the actual buns and ended up with the most moist soft buns I have done so far... Heaven!

Thanks for a great foodsite by the way. It is now on my daily &#039;places of interest&#039;.
